Oops, you've sent a payment to the wrong destination or receiver, in the wrong amount, on the wrong date or you were induced by false pretenses to send a fraudulent entry. Whether it's ACH, checks, wire transfers, or instant payments (FedNow® or RTP®), this session will provide best practices and compliance considerations to help your financial institution make your best attempt to recall the payment. Please note that that in most cases, the liabilities and warranties are on the originating or sending side of these payment types and there are no guarantees of positive outcomes. However, showing your account holders that you're trying a "full court press" could at the very least earn their respect.
