Hoot-E Introduces Madison Howard

Here are the top 5 things Hoot-E wants you to know about Madison Howard, Member Communications Specialist.

Tricia and her Granddaughter

  1. Madison is new to the payments flock. Prior to joining our team in August, she received her Bachelor’s degree in English with a concentration in Communications from Shawnee State University in Portsmouth, Ohio. During her time at SSU, she was the Public Relations Director and a Published Reporter for the SSU Chronicle, a student-ran newspaper. She also worked for a political campaign as Campaign Photographer.
  2. At EPCOR, Madison is nesting in quite nicely as our Member Communications Specialist, bringing a fresh perspective to our social media accounts, including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. She also works on our News You Can Use, Washington Watch, Inside Origination and Payments Post newsletters, and will be heading up the Knowledge Community.
  3. Madison has been flying alongside her husband, Taylor, for a year and a half. After dating in college, they were eventually married in the church where they met during high school. Most of their free time is dedicated to their two “teddy bear” dogs, Otis and Elvis. They keep them very busy!
  4. If she could do one thing for the rest of her life, Madison would hit the road! She has flown all over, from Mexico to Hawaii, and plans to spend the next few years traveling as much as possible! She shared, “Right now, my husband and I are planning a trip back to Hawaii, where we plan on doing something extremely adventurous – either skydiving or cage diving with sharks. I’m excited but he’s not too sure about it!”
  5. Madison thinks classic rock and music from the 70s, 80s and 90s is a hoot. Her favorite artist is Stevie Nicks and she has seen her and Fleetwood Mac in concert multiple times. She laughed, “My bridesmaids walked down the aisle to Stevie’s Landslide. I’m seriously her biggest fan ever!”
