This year's 2010 Payments Summit was a conference of firsts. With a new venue and only six months since the last Summit, the conference kicked off without a hitch. Over 100 payments professionals, including more than 70 AAPs, analyzed the current payments environment, potential threats, advancements, new product services and developments and industry initiatives with payments experts from all over the country. Attendees were given NACHA and Regulation E updates as well as the significant and intricate differences between RDC and ACH Risk Assessments. Sessions also evaluated the various options financial institutions have to increase their outreach and portfolios through topics such as: Understanding Customer Behaviors, Creating Competitive Advantage Through Partnerships, Leveraging Your IAT Investment and Remittance Payments in Developing Nations: An Opportunity for US Banks.
